Operations & Production Co-Ordinator

OverviewFeel Good Australia is a fast-growing supplier of wellness and lifestyle FMCG products to national retailers, including Kmart and Target. As we enter our next growth phase, we require an experienced, structured, and commercially minded Operations and Production co-ordinator to lead our end-to-end operations, elevate team performance, and embed scalable systems and processes.This role replaces a legacy structure that is no longer fit for purpose and represents a reset of our culture. It is suited for a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-accountability, growth-driven environment.Key ObjectivesLead a full cultural and operational reset across production and warehousing.Translate demand planning into timely, cost-effective production schedules.Own full lifecycle of overseas procurement, shipment planning, and local production.Core ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations LeadershipOwn production output from raw material readiness to final goods dispatch.Develop structured, capacity-driven production schedules using demand forecasts.Drive alignment between warehouse, design, demand planning, and accounts.Ensure 95 %+ OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) delivery performance to national retailers.Coordinate Lalbert filling and Feel Good packing based on demand, staff availability, and shipment timelines.Planning & System ImplementationOversee the rollout and refinement of templates, trackers, and scheduling tools.Improve inventory visibility and batch-level traceability using.Monitor CBM and shipping documentation and liaise with freight forwarders for accurate dispatches.Team Management & AccountabilitySet clear daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs with documented performance feedbackBuild a culture of ownership, accuracy, and urgency.Supervise daily tasks such as packing, team monitoring, daily faulty tally, and planning updates.Quality Assurance & Risk ControlOversee and refine the Daily Faulty Tally process with Design and QA teams.Conduct root-cause analysis and embed preventative solutions.Ensure compliance with customer specs, labelling standards, and packing accuracy.Manage QA checks on every shipment and day-to-day packing operations.Track and follow up on Corrective Action Reports (CARs).Executive Reporting & CommunicationLead weekly reporting to the Managing Director with structured updates.Prepare risk scenarios and data-led recommendations in advance of all leadership meetings.Maintain real-time visibility of order status, delays, and resource constraints.Maintain structured team meetings via OneNote and Teams (e.g., Stock Flow, Design/Production, Planning).Key CapabilitiesMinimum 5 years' experience in FMCG production or operational leadership.Proven experience in lifting team performance and overhauling broken processes.Advanced planning, scheduling, and spreadsheet competency.Experience with inventory/ERP systems.Strong communication skills across functions and with senior leadership.A proactive, structured, and accountable leadership style.Experience liaising with suppliers for components, managing overseas purchases and QA on imports.Performance MeasuresOTIF >95% month-on-monthProduction errors
