*About the Roles*

  • Section Waiters: Deliver attentive, knowledgeable table service in a premium setting.
  • Runners:Deliver food and beverages to tables and assisting with guest needs.
  • Bartender: Craft exceptional drinks with flair, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Hosts: Welcome and seat guests, managing reservations and ensuring a seamless first impression.
  • Pass Caller: Coordinate the flow of dishes from kitchen to floor, ensuring timing and presentation meet our exacting standards.

Opening on 22 October 2025, 7 Alfred is a modern steak-frites restaurant built around a singular, confident idea: one exceptional dish, done superbly. Here, the spotlight is on premium Victorian produce – a 220g O'Connor grass-fed scotch fillet from Gippsland – grilled to a smoky crust, served with crisp beef-tallow fries, and paired with your choice of house-made sauce. The offer is intentionally narrow: one signature dish, keeping the focus on quality and consistency.
