Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven ability to deliver high-impact, evidence-based literacy programs that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Evidence of success in implementing consistent approaches to literacy that improve student outcomes.
  • Ability to model effective practice, provide actionable feedback and support teachers in developing high-quality literacy instruction.
  • Demonstrated capacity to collect, interpret and use literacy data to guide teaching, evaluate programs and target interventions.
  • Ability to work productively with leadership teams, teachers and support staff to align curriculum and foster a culture of excellence in literacy teaching.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing learning, remain current with literacy research and introduce new strategies that enhance student engagement and achievement.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education, be familiar and comply with the school's Child-Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.

  • Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
