The Department of the Legislative Council is a dynamic, collaborative and positive workplace. The three principal areas of the department are the Procedure Office, the Committee Office, and the Office of the Black Rod, each offering unique, challenging and reward work.

About the position
We are seeking up to four highly motivated, appropriately skilled and experienced professionals to join the Department of the Legislative Council as Council Officers (Clerk Grade 5/6).

Targeted questions
This position calls for high level administrative skills, including the use of information management systems. Give examples of where you have managed complex administration tasks and competing priorities, while meeting strict deadlines and demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
Working well within a team is a key requirement for this position and includes exercising leadership amongst administration staff. Provide an example of a situation where you showed leadership and an ability to work effectively with others to achieve a common goal.
