The Client

This multinational freight forwarder has excellent global coverage, offers a friendly, collaborative work environment and is easily accessed on public transport.

The Position

Reporting to the Customs Manager, you will play a key role in air and sea freight clearances, assisting with the coordination of freight deliveries, and ensuring smooth communication with internal and external teams.

You will work closely with Customs Brokers to expedite clearances and ensure efficient processes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and classify import air and sea freight clearances for a wide range of commodities
  • Assist with coordinating freight deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Support Customs Brokers in expediting clearances
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a customs role using CargoWise
  • Strong communication skills with an excellent attention for detail
  • Well developed customer service skills
  • Commitment to the term of the contract

  • Competitive salary - $85K + super
