What You'll Do:

  • Leadership: Coordinating and mentoring mid and junior-level staff to ensure the highest quality of work and professional growth.

  • Project Management: Manage diverse environmental projects across NSW, from proposal preparation to project completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.

  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

  • Business Development: Drive growth by identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and cultivating relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project goals, timelines, and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Environmental Compliance, Contaminated Land Management or Environmental Consultancy with a strong track record in project and staff management.

  • Education: A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • Skills: Strong communication, report writing, and project management skills, with proficiency in relevant software like ESdat and ESlog.

  • Desirable: Northern Rivers based, with a Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) certification or willingness to obtain it, and a valid White Card.
