Job Title: Environmental Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Management Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Management Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and leadership on environmental and sustainability matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on environmental management and sustainability
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to guide sustainable water and waste management
  • Lead compliance and risk management activities, including climate change, emissions reduction, and drought planning
  • Represent us with government, industry panels, and community stakeholders on environmental issues
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in environmental management, science, engineering, or relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience in environmental management within the water or waste industry
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and contract management procedures
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office suite of programs and geographical information systems
