Your Role in the Business
  • Be the go-to mechanic for repairs and maintenance of a wide range of industrial construction tools – from concrete saws and trowel machines to generators, vibrators, pumps, and more.
  • Own the customer experience: liaise with clients, book and schedule jobs, and manage workflow through our CRM system.
  • Take control of inventory: ordering, managing spare parts, and workshop organization.
  • Mentor and support a junior/apprentice mechanic.
  • Handle warranty repairs, logistics, and supplier relationships with professionalism.
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell service packages, increasing your take-home pay.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to directors about workshop improvements, tools, and operational needs.

Who We're Looking For
  • A small motor mechanic or mobile plant mechanic with experience in servicing/repairing construction tools. Having Experience with construction tools and machinery is desired, though will consider a good all rounder and brand/agent training can be offered.
  • Hands-on knowledge of concrete tools, generators, and small plant gear – or a willingness to learn fast.
  • Someone who is solution-focused, highly organized, and takes ownership of their workspace and workflow.
  • Great with people – from mentoring an apprentice to building rapport with clients and suppliers.
  • Tech-savvy enough to navigate CRM and job-tracking software with confidence.
  • Must have: QLD driver's licence and White Card (forklift licence preferred).
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia.
