About the role

This is a full-time Chicken Boner position with ABD Poultry PTY LTD', located in Hemmant, QLD 4174. As a Chicken Boner, you will be responsible for the skilled removal of bones from chicken meat to prepare a variety of boneless chicken products for distribution and sale.

What you'll be doing

  1. Carefully and precisely removing bones from fresh chicken carcasses using specialised tools and techniques
  2. Ensuring all chicken meat is cleanly separated from bones with minimal waste
  3. Maintaining high levels of hygiene and food safety standards throughout the boning process
  4. Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines
  5. Assisting with other butchery tasks as required

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years' experience as a Chicken Boner or similar role in a commercial butchery or meat processing environment
  2. Demonstrated skill and dexterity in manually removing bones from chicken meat
  3. Excellent attention to detail to ensure a high-quality, boneless chicken product
  4. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure to meet production targets
  5. Commitment to maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
  6. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
