We currently have an opportunity for an experienced broker to join our growing strata/body corporate team.

Direct Insurance Brokers (DIB) has been operating since 1980, and prides itself on high quality customer service.

DIB is well respected in the strata/body corporate insurance sector, and one of Queensland's largest family owned and independently run firms.

We are members of Steadfast, NIBA, CQIB and SCA (QLD), which is the industry strata body.

Our strata team includes broking, support and claims areas, so we need someone that thrives in a group environment and enjoys a fast paced office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years insurance experience and hold a Tier 2 qualification.

The role itself is managing a portfolio of Residential and Commercial strata policies. This will include:

  • Liaising with owners, committees and strata managers to handle queries;
  • Liaising with underwriters in the strata space regarding new business, alterations and renewals;
  • Working with our claims team to look after your portfolio;
  • Working with our support team regarding renewals and/or daily processing;
  • As a Steadfast broker having knowledge of SCTP, Sunrise and Insight will be helpful in your application.

Our office is centrally located at Bowen Hills close to paid parking and train stations.

We can be flexible in the working arrangements, however, prefer to have all team members working from the office.

We offer ongoing training, participation at industry events, office social events and more.
