Warehouse Customer Service Officer

We're looking for an organised and proactive Customer Service Officer to play a key part in ensuring smooth order processing, container movements, and operational support.
You'll work closely with the warehouse, transport providers, and management team to deliver accurate, timely, and professional service every day.
This role is M-F 10:00am-6:00pm - office based.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate container movements and communications for the Sydney facility.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, including assisting drivers and responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Process Purchase Orders and Sales Orders accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Review and prepare inwards goods for next-day delivery, ensuring all details are correct.
- Reconcile returned Purchase Orders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Finalise returned Sales Orders, verifying item details, use-by dates, and escalating discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure customer documentation (including photos when required) is complete and accurate before dispatch.
- Monitor and follow up on late Sales Orders with the Management team.
- Investigate and help resolve order or inventory discrepancies quickly and effectively.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in customer service and/or administration (experience in logistics or supply chain highly regarded).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management systems (e.g. Fishbowl), or ticketing systems (e.g. Freshdesk) will be an advantage.
