We are looking for dedicated Freight Handlers / Parcel Sorters to join our dynamic team based in Granville.

Job Description: As a Freight Handler / Parcel Sorter, you will play a crucial role in the movement of goods within our warehouse . You will be responsible for sorting, handling, and processing parcels and freight with precision and care. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Position Brief Below:

  • Monday – Sunday working roster ( must be able to work weekends and required overtime )
  • Pay rate $44.26 Per hour + Penalties
  • Ongoing work for successful applicants
  • Commence ASAP
  • Shift start time will predominantly be between 5am - 8am  start times ( Flexibility will be required to be successful )
  • Due to varying volume and requirements, flexibility to start later and finish later will be required

Responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently sort and handle parcels and freight according to established procedures. Ensure accurate labelling and routing of packages.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks and containers.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and assist with stock checks as needed.
  • Loading conveyor system with packages

To Be Successful you will have

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, particularly in freight sorting highly advantageous
  • Current Police Check Highly Desirable ( we can assist if you do not have one)
  • Current Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to undertake repetitive manual and physical tasks
  • have the ability to work a flexible roster with start times mentioned
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as required
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in sorting and handling packages.
  • Have own reliable transportation
  • Must be able to provide a police check no older than 6 months or willing to apply for one via our system
