Randstad is currently working with an exciting client to find an experienced SAP HR/Payroll Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical implementations, integrations, and large-scale data migrations. This is a 13 month contract with potential of extension.

About The Role
The Project Manager will lead all aspects of the ERP HR/Payroll stream of work on the Services for the ERP Program (S/4HANA), with responsibility for completing the design, build and deployment through utilisation of SAP Activate Methodology. They will be accountable for the coordination and management of all aspects of the HR/Payroll process, functional, data migration and integration scope; supporting the overall deployment of the solution.

The ERP SAP S/4HANA HR/Payroll Project Manager needs to be a strong project minded individual, with extensive experience around large HR/Payroll migration and transformation projects. The right candidate will have strong customer facing skills and a strong understanding of Service Delivery.

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years of technical project management experience, with a proven track record delivering full-lifecycle SAP HR/Payroll projects.
  • Expertise in Data Migration: Demonstrated experience managing complex HR/Payroll data migrations from both legacy and SAP systems.
  • Deep Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of core HR and Payroll principles, including employee master data, time & leave, payments, legislative regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Methodology Proficiency: Proven experience applying project management methodologies like SAP Activate or ASAP across multi-phase releases.
  • Strong Leadership: Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams (design, development, data) and collaborate effectively across interdependent project streams.
  • Excellent Communication: Proven ability to manage and report on project deliverables, budgets, timelines, risks, and the critical path.
  • Technical Acumen: Experience with integrated SAP platforms, both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Qualifications requested: A relevant degree or certification in Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
