Matilda Health Careis a developer and operator of boutique Australian private hospitals that provide premium in-patient care and day programs that foster health and wellbeing in a five-star health care setting.

We provide services in selected medical specialties including rehabilitation, mental health, medical, geriatric and palliative care.

We're setting a new standard in private hospital management and operations - delivering a premium level of patient care, service and experience in a boutique "hotel-like" setting.

Matilda Nepean is brand new 90-bed sub-acute Private Hospital at Kingswood,nestled in a world-class medical hub at the base of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney, adjacent to Nepean Public Hospital.

Matilda Nepean Private Hospital is looking for an experienced, motivated and organised Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and reviewing supplier invoices for accuracy and matching to purchase orders
  • Set up of new supplier accounts
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Monitoring accounts email inbox and dispersing as required
  • Debit Card Reconciliation
  • Preparation, checking and processing of weekly payment runs

Essential

  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
  • Proven ability to perform data entry, calculate, reconcile accounts and post financial journals
  • High level of computer skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced data entry skills with attention to accuracy
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding payments and payment discrepancies

Desirable

  • Previous hospital experience
  • Microsoft Dynamic 365 experience
  • Part-time role of 15 hours per week

The successful candidate will have a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proven time management and a high work ethic. An ability to self-motivate, establish priorities and meet deadlines is essential. Experience and knowledge of MS Dynamics will be highly regarded.
