Operations Manager

We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in delivering high-quality facilities services across six schools in Victoria's fastest-growing communities. Reporting to the New Schools PPP Project - Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Lead the delivery of maintenance operations and support services across multiple school sites, ensuring excellence in service and compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate a diverse team including School Officers, Cleaning Team Leaders, and Facilities Supervisors to foster a positive and high-performing culture.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement through strategic planning and change management.
• Manage financial performance and risk, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to budget and compliance standards.
• Champion safety, quality, and sustainability through regular audits, toolbox talks, and adherence to WHS and environmental policies.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in facilities management, cleaning services, or building maintenance, with relevant trade or tertiary qualifications.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including staff training, supervision, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to professional behaviours and service excellence.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with compliance and reporting systems.
• Required certifications including a valid Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.
