Join Crown Perth's Entertainment Team – Casual Technical Operators (Audio Visual)
With an exciting calendar of upcoming events, Crown Perth's Entertainment Department is expanding the Crown AV team and seeking Technical Operators – Audio Visual for 2 x casual positions.
About the Role
As a Technical Operator, you'll collaborate with the AV Operations Supervisor and Theatre Technical Manager to support the delivery of high-quality events across Crown Perth venues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with bump-in and bump-out of events, shows, and installations
- Setting up, operating, dismantling, and maintaining audio-visual systems
- Supporting the smooth execution of technical operations across various venues
About You
We're looking for individuals who bring:
- Previous experience in AV operations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Additional Information
To be successful, you'll have:
- Experience in operating Audio Visual systems including Audio, Lighting, Camera and/or experience in operating Digital Audio consoles, Lighting and Vision systems
- Experience with correct manual handling technique
- Basic IT knowledge
- Understanding of OH&S and work safe practices
This role requires:
- Working at Heights
- White Card
- EWP
- Relevant Certificate qualification (WAAPA or equivalent)
