We are seeking experienced Welders to join our growing and dynamic team. Must be reliable, committed to the job and have your own vehicle for transport.

As a Construction Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site welding and fabrication work on various commercial projects, including preparing materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work closely with our construction teams to ensure all welding tasks are completed to specification, within budget, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

·       Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel and other materials.

·       Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

·       Carry out fabrication, repairs, and modifications on-site.

·       Follow site safety procedures and assist in maintaining compliance with WHS standards.

·       Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

·       Prepare and stage construction materials to ensure workflow efficiency.

·       Operate hand tools, power tools, and site equipment safely and as directed.

·       Report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance needs to the Site Supervisor promptly.

·       Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

What you'll bring

Essential:

·       Trade Qualification in Welding (Certificate 3 in Engineering – Fabrication Trade)

·       High Risk Work Licences, EWP, or Forklift (advantageous).

·       Ability to read and follow basic plans and instructions.

·       Previous experience in the construction industry (minimum 2 years)

·       Understanding of basic construction practices and use of hand and power tools.

·       Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in varying conditions.

·       Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices.

·       Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring all deadlines are met.

·       Excellent verbal skills - Able to follow instructions by the site supervisors.

·       White Card (Construction Induction) – mandatory for site access.

Renumeration
