About Us:

Watermayne is an established custom, residential building company. We specialise in building high-performance homes throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula and its surrounds.

We pride ourselves on our relationships and the culture we create with our team, clients and trades. Watermayne undertake a select number of projects each year so that every project receives the attention and resources it deserves.

We are currently looking for a carpenter who shares our passion for building beautiful and functional, high-performance homes.

The Role:

Watermayne is seeking a Qualified and Skilled Carpenter who possesses:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Carpenter with a Trade Qualification
  • 3 years min experience in all aspects of carpentry / multi-skilled residential construction experience
  • White card
  • Driver's license
  • Experienced in reading and interpreting plans
  • Experience in First and Second Fix Carpentry
  • High level organisation skills and a system-based thinker
  • Ability to work collaboratively, cooperatively and independently
  • A desire to keep learning and developing your skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality projects
  • An interest or experience in high-performance, sustainable residential construction

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Manage safety, time, and quality for on-site activities for carpentry and general construction
  • Review plans & documentation
  • Administer overall carpentry packages as required by the Supervisor
  • Ordering materials
  • Managing labour, including carpentry team
  • Utlising company software packages to support your duties
