About the role

We are seeking an individual to fill the yard coordinator position assisting the Asset Manager in the day to day running of our yard in Beenleigh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day to day operations of the yard, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance
  • Coordinate the loading, unloading, and machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, consumables, and spare parts procurement.
  • Coordinate repairs, servicing, and calibration of tools and equipment with internal maintenance teams or external suppliers.
  • Coordinate on hire and off hire inspections of plant and equipment
  • Ensure the yard is organised, safe, and compliant with company and regulatory standards
  • Record keeping and general administrative work

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar yard, logistics, or equipment coordination role (piling or construction industry preferred)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Valid driver's licence (HR or forklift ticket desirable)
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
  • An ability to work independently and at times guide others
  • An attention to detail and quality
  • A mature approach to the workplace, an ability to complete tasks and adapt to change within a fast paced environment
  • A focus on Zero Harm and following safe systems of work
