Hourly Rate: From $35.35 – $43.54 per hour (inclusive of casual loading, dependent on qualification level)

About Busy Bees at Glenroy

At Busy Bees at Glenroy, we take pride in providing high-quality education and care that nurtures every child's curiosity, confidence, and love for learning. Our centre features purpose-built indoor and outdoor environments designed to spark imagination and creativity for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

We are looking for Casual Educators who are passionate, reliable, and flexible to join our dedicated team. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced educator, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a caring and supportive environment where you'll make a real impact every day.

About the Role

As a Casual Educator at Busy Bees at Glenroy, you will:

  • Engage with children and support their learning through play-based experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

  • Assist with day-to-day routines including meals, rest, hygiene, and transitions.

  • Support the delivery of high-quality programs guided by the National Quality Standards (NQS).

  • Work collaboratively with educators and room leaders to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.

  • Provide consistency and continuity of care across different rooms as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Current Working with Children Check (VIC).

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (HLTAID012) certification.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Flexibility to work across various shifts Monday to Friday between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
