ABOUT AMEK ENGINEERING

AMEK Engineering is a national company providing first class building services to the commercial sector. We are multi trade specialists that in addition to HVAC, also offer our expertise in Electrical, Fire and BMS (Building Management Systems).

Due to growth in our business, we are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis

YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Routine planned preventative maintenance of electrical fittings and equipment.
  • Carrying out installation works and breakdown service as required
  • Undertake further training on the testing of essential services equipment.
  • Preparation and submission of service reports.
  • Log detailed reports of work performed in a field management app
  • Ensure client expectations are met.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Electrical service and maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of DDC systems will be highly regarded.
  • Basic HVAC knowledge
  • Attention to detail with strong fault-finding abilities
  • Honest and Reliable
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • OHS&E knowledge and understanding.
  • Be willing to travel inter/intra state when required
  • Be available for planned and unplanned overtime

REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Electrical License
  • 'C' Class Driver's License
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Working at Heights Ticket (Within 2 years)
  • National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
  • Ability to obtain Working with Children check
  • Right to work in Australia

Remuneration is negotiable by experience and will be discussed with you upon successful application.
