The Opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities business has an exciting opportunity for an Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team based at Barrow Island, WA .

Working in the Barrow Island workshop , you will perform electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles and machinery that support the Oil & Gas site. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:2 roster , day shift only , offering excellent work-life balance.

About You

  • Australian Recognised Auto Electrician Trade Qualification
  • Current WA "C" Class Driver Licence and White Card
  • CPR & LVR certification (within the last 12 months)
  • Experience with light vehicles and fleet maintenance , ideally in a remote or FIFO environment
  • Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive electrical systems to high safety and quality standards
  • Safety-focused mindset and commitment to Downer's Zero Harm culture
