As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Electrician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Installs, maintains and repairs electrical wiring and electronic components in motor vehicles.

Duties:

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic malfunctions in motor vehicles.
• Dismantle and remove electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
• Install and connect electrical equipment and components in motor vehicles.
• Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to the power supply.
• Perform adjustments to engine control systems and timing.
• Test and replace defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors.
• Repair and replace faulty ignition and electrical wiring.
• Replace defective parts such as fuses, lamps, and switches.
• Use test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
• Test and replace defective vehicle electrical components.

Qualifications:

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training
• AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
