About Us:

Champs Café Pty Ltd is a busy and well-established café and hospitality business situated within the heart of Sydney Markets. We serve hundreds of wholesale and retail customers daily with freshly brewed coffee, gourmet sandwiches, and hot meals. Our team prides itself on quality service, efficiency, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. We are now seeking an experienced Hospitality and Service Manager to oversee all aspects of our café and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day café operations including customer service, staffing, and supply chain logistics.
  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and warehouse assistants.
  • Implement and oversee rostering, payroll coordination, and performance management.
  • Maintain inventory and stock levels, liaising with suppliers and managing orders.

Conduct daily reconciliations and financial reporting using MYOB and POS systems.

  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety legislation.

Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar management role within a café or hospitality business.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, POS systems, and stock management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle peak trading periods.
  • Willingness to work weekends and early mornings as required.
