to expand its presence in North Queensland. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a
Senior Accounting Partner
to lead and grow the Townsville team.

We are seeking a highly accomplished accountant with a
proven track record of running a successful client portfolio
. This is your chance to join an ambitious, fast-growing regional team, bringing your clients or expanding the existing client base, while enjoying significant autonomy, influence, and reward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the
    Townsville accounting team
    , mentoring staff and building a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee
    audit and business services engagements
    across a diverse client portfolio.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights, financial guidance, and compliance solutions.
  • Drive business development initiatives, leveraging your existing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports to the
    board and senior partners
    , contributing to strategic decisions and overall firm direction.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, risk management, and quality control requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with
    experience in business services, tax, audit & advisory (but not limited to)
    .
  • Established client base or a strong track record in building profitable client relationships.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
