THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity to join the firm as a Senior Accountant, where you will take on greater responsibilities and contribute to the success of their clients while mentoring junior team members. Reporting to the Tax and Business Services Partner, you will lead engagements, manage client portfolios, and support the firm's commitment to professional excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a range of clientsOversee tax compliance processes, including BAS preparation and lodgementManage client relationships, providing tailored advice and solutionsMentor and support junior accountants in developing their skillsConduct financial analysis and reporting to assist clients in achieving their goalsContribute to the firm's strategic initiatives and community involvementEXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CA or CPA qualification4+ years' experience in tax or business services within a CA or CPA firmStrong technical knowledge of Australian tax compliance and accounting standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactionProven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectivelyProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Office SuiteTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
