With this in mind, we are looking for more talented and driven Chefs join our elite team.

The Role – Full Time Qualified Chefs/Cook

Following the successful opening of The Avenue, and the growing popularity of the multi-award-winning The Precinct – our flagship restaurant, we are seeking additional Qualified Chefs/Cooks to work across all kitchens in our bustling venue.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, drawing on a broad culinary knowledge base, thriving in a fast-paced kitchen, and showcasing a flair for creativity. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring strict adherence to hygiene regulations.
  • Ensuring the quality of all meals and food items from preparation to presentation.
  • Demonstrating proper techniques and providing guidance on preparing, cooking, freezing, and preserving foods.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with management, kitchen, and wait staff regarding food preparation, dietary needs, and specific requests.
  • Preparing and cooking food.

Knowledge required:

  • A passion for food and the ability to deliver outstanding dishes
  • Wok cooking experience will be advantageous
  • Reliable and punctual
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant Diploma (s) or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
