Seedlings Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cook / Chef to join our team at our beautiful 101-place centre in Mount Warren Park.

As our centre cook, you'll play a vital role in shaping healthy habits for children from their very first bites. Every meal you prepare helps little learners grow, thrive, and feel cared for. About the Role
  • Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious, and balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0–5 years.
  • Cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with educators to support children's wellbeing and healthy eating habits.
  • Manage stock control and ordering within budget.
About You
  • Previous experience as a cook or chef, ideally within an early childhood, school, or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices (Food Safety Supervisor Certificate desirable).
  • Ability to plan menus that meet the nutritional needs of children.
  • Organised, reliable, and passionate about healthy cooking.
  • Positive team player with good communication skills.
