About the role

The primary objective of this role is to maintain the MUFG Retirement Solutions (RS) client facing mobile apps, including feature maintenance, configuration management and ongoing software maintenance. In addition, the Mobile App Developer role will collaborate with delivery teams to deliver a seamless solution for clients and end-users.

Location: Melbourne or Parramatta based | Day rate contract / Casual role for 6 months

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Build and maintain the MUFG Retirement Solutions' client-facing mobile applications as a key element of MUFG's digital and member experience product offerings.
  • Champion rapid implementation ways of working and consistent repeatable configuration management processes to achieve efficient and high-quality deployments
  • Drive continuous improvement in DevOps including automation and assisted tools for Dev, Test and deployment

Operational Management

  • Build and maintain high-performance, scalable, user-friendly mobile applications using .Net MAUI across Android and iOS
  • Maintain and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for seamless mobile app build and deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client stakeholders, as needed
  • Utilise the approved dev, test and deployment tools within the MUFG RS technology team
  • Integrate mobile apps with downstream applications via approved MUFG RS Technology integration patterns and solutions
  • Build for optimal application performance, responsiveness, user experience across different devices and OS
  • Apply the approved MUFG cyber security and solution architecture governance
  • App store configuration and developer account management

People Leadership

  • Share knowledge of mobile app dev principles and best practice
  • Collaborate with colleagues across RS Technology to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients
  • Role model the culture and behaviours aligned with MUFG RS values

Governance & Risk

  • Meet all requirements of the MUFG RS code of conduct and relevant employee policies
  • Meet all requirements of MUFG RS Software Development, security and data privacy guidelines
  • Keep documentation and procedures up to date
    Work within MUFG RS Technology release guidelines and change management procedures

What You will bring in the role to be successful:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience of building and managing consumer mobile applications
  • Proficiency in .Net MAUI and Javascript
  • Expert in producing high quality code for Mobile (Android and iOS) based applications
  • Experienced in .Net API integration and Cyber Security
  • Proficient in unit and system integration testing across all phases of the development cycle
  • Proficient in clearly and concisely articulating issues and solutions
  • Knowledge of system architecture and technology integration
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration mindset
    Able to work in a fast-paced business environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
