Your responsibilities

  • Identify capable businesses in new industries and provide them with information on departmental programs and initiatives and other opportunities to support growth, investment and supply chain development.
  • Leverage your networks to facilitate and assist industry to connect with all levels of Government.
  • Lead strategic projects or studies related to new industries.
  • Support planning and delivery of economic priorities of regional communities
  • Provide briefings, submissions, reports and other documentation as required.
  • Represent the department at meetings, committees and industry events.
  • Develop effective relationships with industry, all levels of government, peak industry bodies and other key stakeholders, to support delivery of regional outcomes.
