As a Performance Management Specialist, you will work collaboratively and innovatively within the Performance Improvement Team to develop innovative best practice claims management strategies to drive improved business performance. At a high level, this includes assisting the scheme in

meeting corporate objectives aligned with assistance in maximising remuneration and improving operational and quality measure results.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Assist in realising organisation goals by aligning processes and driving efficient results.
  • Assisting in translating business plans into action plans; this includes monitoring and reviewing plans through to completion.
  • Assist in identifying, analysing, and improving business processes to meet current goals and to identify new ones that aim to improve profit and performance.
  • Where appropriate, assist in re-engineering processes to reduce cost and cycle time and improve the quality of production and service.
  • Analyse scheme and DXC performance data to identify performance again remuneration objectives and areas for improvement and opportunity.
  • Participate and contribute to the development of new initiatives, strategies, and processes to assist achieve gains in business performance, working with Continuous Improvement Team
  • Assist the Senior Management Team with planning and strategic orientation.
  • Provide direction to staff member/s regarding selected components and aspects of their work, as required.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring to assist employees reach their objectives, and enable progression and potential.

Required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Understanding the Workers Compensation Legislation, regulations and guidelines
  • String understanding of the governing standards of practice
  • Strong understanding and Agent remuneration drivers
  • Highly experienced in GWCC, CRM salesforce, QLIK reporting and other scheme systems including but not limited to Kofax, Payments Plus etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly developed self-management and organisation skills
  • Continuous improvement and initiative – including flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Effective consultation, negotiation and influencing skills.
