Job Description

As the Reverse Logistics Specialists, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Reverse Logistics processes for both JB Hi Fi and The Good Guys (JB Hi Fi Group).  You will work closely with the 3rd party Reverse Logistics providers, provide support with a strong customer focus to JB Hi-Fi & The Good Guys stores, Buying, Inventory, Finance Teams & Supplier partners to ensure optimised outcomes.

The key purpose of the role is to support stores & to administrate returns related tasks (transport of goods from stores Nationally for consolidation at 3PL warehouse, processing of faulty goods, Sale or Return programs, store back of house initiatives) & ensure that those tasks are performed in accordance with JB Hi-Fi Group policies and guidelines and that all processes are performed to a standard that ensures inventory accuracy with a very strong emphasis on loss mitigation for the JB Hi-Fi Group.

Key accountabilities Include but are not limited to:

• Support stores and 3rd Party Reverse Logistics providers to ensure compliance with process and policies relating to the transport of returns from each store to the 3rd party warehouse, reporting of non-compliance (COR, damaged product, packaging standards, goods labelling, etc.)
• Assist with in-transit related stock issues
• General database maintenance and updates
• Liaise with suppliers/repair agents regarding customer repairs
• Work with Suppliers to action queries/issues in a timely manner
• Help maintain policies & procedures as relevant to product and other returns across JB Hi-Fi Group
• Actively contribute to development of the Supply Chain agenda within JB Hi-Fi Group

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Retail based experience ideally in Consumer Electronics
• Possesses a working understanding of Australian Consumer Law
• Strong systems literacy, including understanding of working directly with transactional systems & ticketing systems
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Is task, timeline and process focused
• Is action orientated with a high level of attention to detail
• Demonstrates advanced problem solving skills
• Experience in a JB Hi Fi or The Good Guys store or Support Office is advantageous but not essential
