About the role

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for making our evolving our industry from Diesel to Electric buses.

Bus Stop Sales and Service Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Diesel Mechanics to join us in a full-time capacity. We are a leader in the diesel and electric vehicle space with great work and opportunities.

This role is Monday to Friday which will involve working with/on new and used buses and light trucks and focusing on:

  • Bus and light truck scheduled maintenance and repairs.
  • Support Zero Emission Buses servicing and pre-delivery.
  • Technical diagnosis and support of buses / light trucks.
  • Fault find mechanical and electrical issues (diesel and electric).
  • Also the opportunity to work towards Dual trade qualifications

The successful applicant should be able to work on new vehicle pre-delivery work, mechanical service and repairs, vehicle diagnostics and fault finding as well as learning and working on medium and large electric vehicles.

Skills and experience

  • The successful candidate will be trade qualified (minimum of 5 years' experience). EV training available.
  • Applicants should be able to work independently
  • Full Australian working rights/willing to obtain visa
  • Bus experience would be a bonus but not critical
  • Be highly motivated and reliable - needs to be able to work efficiently and effectively
  • Candidate should be safety focused
  • Enjoy working in a team environment is essential
