About the role

This roll requires a skilled, Licence Electrician with an eye for detail to carry out final testing of our control panels. Applicant must have skill sets in Control & Automation.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Panel Tester & Quality Control Technician to work full time 38 hours per week function testing completed Control panels ready for delivery to our customers. Hours & days can be flexible for the right candidate.

Key duties include:

  • Upload programs to OPLC's and variable speed drives
  • Test functionality and simulate control circuit function and operation
  • Read and understand electrical schematic diagrams
  • Check layout of control board
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Conduct quality control assessment of control boards and drawings
  • Complete final test reports and related paperwork

Skills and requirements:

  • Hold a current electrical licence
  • Skilled in Control & Automation preferable but not essential
  • Provide high attention to detail
  • Work to reasonable time frames
  • Industry experience is preferable but not essential
  • Have valid Australian working rights
