Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervision, Training & Staff Management

  • Train, mentor, and motivate cleaning staff to ensure consistent adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of cleaning industry experience is required.
  • Oversee team performance, provide regular feedback, and maintain quality standards.
  • Provide staffing cover during periods of annual leave, sick leave, or other absences to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support new team members during onboarding and probationary periods, ensuring a smooth integration into company culture and expectations.

2. Operational Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee routine, periodic, and specialist cleaning tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Deep cleaning

  • Floor scrubbing and polishing
  • Glass and window cleaning
  • Carpet steam cleaning
  • Strip and seal floor maintenance etc..
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment, vehicles, and materials are properly maintained, safe, and adequately stocked.
  • A current car driving licence is required for this position.
  • Monitor and report on job progress, staff performance, and client satisfaction, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and Customer Service Manager to meet service standards and operational goals.

3. Client & Site Liaison

  • Act as the key point of contact between clients and the company, ensuring effective communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to address concerns, review standards, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to client requests, complaints, and emergencies, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

4. Hands-On Support

  • Provide hands-on cleaning assistance as needed, particularly during peak periods, staff shortages, or when specialist skills are required.
