Your Role: As a Support Services Worker, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will focus on cleaning and laundry services, ensuring our home feels welcoming and well-presented at all times. Through your daily interactions, you'll help create meaningful connections with residents, their families, and staff—supporting comfort, dignity, and a genuine sense of home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness across resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared areas
  • Complete routine and deep-cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • Provide laundry services, including sorting, checking, labelling, washing, drying, folding, and returning resident items
  • Ensure linen supplies are maintained and stored appropriately
  • Restock cleaning supplies and hand hygiene stations as required
  • Follow infection control procedures and safe work practices
  • Complete required documentation and reporting accurately and on time

Our Home: Our 63-room aged care home offers a warm, professional, and well-maintained environment for both residents and staff. Resthaven is thoughtfully designed to support quality care delivery. Staff enjoy working in a purpose-built setting featuring bay windows, garden views, and modern amenities including individually controlled air-conditioning. The home also features spacious communal lounge and dining areas, supporting a collaborative and comfortable workplace.

To be successful you will need:

  • NDIS Worker Clearance – MANDATORY
  • Valid working rights in Australia– MANDATORY
  • Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Laundry or Cleaning highly desirable
  • A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Compassionate and Empathetic nature
