The role

Based at Mackay Service Centre, this is a hands-on role where you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment and will be responsible for:

  • Assembling, servicing and maintaining geared motors and industrial gear boxes.
  • Preparing products for despatch.
  • Ensuring the work environment is kept clean and safety is upheld at all times.
  • Maintaining a high standard of work.

About you

  • Relevant trade qualifications.
  • Relevant technical knowledge pertaining to the Mechanical Engineering Industry.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude to safety.
  • Forklift ticket would be an advantage.
  • Machining experience would be an advantage.
