What You'll Be Doing
The Executive Assistant provides high-level organisational and administrative support to member(s) of the NSW Health Pathology executive and proactively ensures that all portfolio administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

  • Extensive experience in providing highly organised and efficient executive administrative support including diary management at an executive level and the provision of secretariat support for meetings
  • Advanced proficiency in using PC based software at an advanced level including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook), SharePoint and network operations.
  • High level communication skills, including sound interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to liaise with staff and health professionals at all levels and work cohesively within teams
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgement and prioritise workload to respond and adapt to changing priorities and demands in a multidisciplinary work environment.
  • Sound understanding of the demands and environment of the health system, including the need for confidentiality and discretion in issues management, preferably with experience working in a similar role in a complex organisation.
  • High level ability to develop, implement and/or enhance office administrative systems and processes.
