The Role

As the Senior Tax Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory work, with most of your time focused on reviewing tax returns and overseeing lodgement programs. You'll work with a variety of clients and handle some complex scenarios when they arise. You'll also support and guide junior and senior team members while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review tax returns and manage lodgement programs for businesses, trusts, and individuals
  • Handle complex tax matters including consolidations and business groups as needed
  • Support billing processes and month-end procedures
  • Guide and mentor junior and senior team members
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical advice
  • Contribute to client training sessions

  • 7-12+ years in Australian public practice with 2+ years managing lodgement program
  • CA/CPA qualified (or very close)
  • Deep expertise in business tax, consolidations, and complex structures
  • Genuine passion for mentoring others and seeing them succeed
