About the role

Spry Amusements is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Travelling Carnival Truck Driver/Labourers to join our team. This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, QLD travelling the east coast of Australia. As the Travelling Carnival Truck Driver/Labourer, you will be responsible for transporting our carnival equipment and rides between locations, as well as assisting with the set-up and dismantle of our carnival attractions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely driving MR trucks to transport carnival equipment and rides between locations
  2. Assisting with the set-up and dismantle of carnival attractions at each site
  3. Performing general labouring duties as required, such as loading/unloading equipment
  4. Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored
  5. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  6. Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and the public

What we're looking for

  1. Valid MR truck driving licence as a minimum.
  2. Experience in the carnival/amusement industry is preferred but not essential.
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness
  5. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
