Aust Care Environmental Services Water Truck Operator/Labourer – Natural Areas

Join a long-established Brisbane-based company specialising in all aspects of bushland rehabilitation and ecological restoration. We deliver high-quality services to Local and State Governments, Public Utility Organisations, Developers, Mine Sites, and large rural properties throughout Southeast Queensland.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Water Truck Operator/Labourer to assist with the establishment of large- and small-scale revegetation and offset plantings along with general labouring and machine safety spotter duties across the greater Brisbane area.


Your Role Will Include:
  • Operating a water truck to carry out establishment watering
  • Assisting in general labouring and revegetation works
  • Supporting machine operators as a safety spotter
  • Operating machinery such as zero-turn mowers and brushcutters
  • Augering for planting and site preparation
  • Working alongside bush regeneration crews

Requirements:
  • Minimum MR Driver's Licence (experience operating water trucks highly regarded)
  • Construction Industry White/Blue Card (mandatory)
  • Physically fit and healthy with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude with good communication skills
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting maps, plans, and site specifications

Desirable Skills & Licences:
  • Skid Steer Loader and Excavator tickets
  • Chainsaw Level 1 & 2 certification
  • Experience using augers, brushcutters, zero-turn mowers, blowers, and other land management equipment
  • Background or interest in Natural Area Management
