The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a dual tradesperson to join our Toowoomba Branch supporting the Meandu Mine. The position is a site based dayshift position working a Lifestyle Roster (4/5/5/4/5/5), with accommodation provided. The position primarily provides diagnostic and maintenance support for the EH5000 Truck Fleet onsite.

To be successful in this role you will:

Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) electrical and mechanical trade qualifications with high voltage experience
Have experience, knowledge and understanding of civil and mining equipment from and electrical and mechanical capacity
Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously within remote areas
Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships
Excellent technical knowledge of Hitachi mining equipment would be highly advantageous
