Apprentice Electrician

Airlec Australia is seeking a motivated electrical apprentice to join the business.

Airlec Australia provides electrical services across domestic, commercial and industrial platforms, specialising in Air-conditioning and solar power (on grid, Hybrid and Off grid systems) and offers a fantastic team driven culture with exciting and rewarding projects.

1st Year, 2nd Year or 3rd year will be considered.

Applicants who possess the following attributes will be highly regarded:

• Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service
• The ability to participate and contribute in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and develop in the role
• A high attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Effective time management skills
• Experience working in the electrical, air- conditioning, solar or other trade industry (highly desirable but not essential)
• Certificate II in Electrotechnology (highly desirable but not essential)
• Certificate II in Split systems (highly desirable but not essential)
• Working at Heights (highly desirable but not essential)

Applicants MUST have:

• A manual driver's licence
• First Aid/LV CPR
• Construction white card
• Experience working on job sites and with hand tools
• The ability to work overtime and weekends where required (appropriate compensation provided)
• A desire to join the team long-term and aspire to complete an Electrical Fitter Mechanic apprenticeship
• Good Communication skills with a sense of humour
