Wolff Power Pty Ltd is a mid-tier privately-owned electrical engineering, consulting, construction and operations & maintenance services company with offices in Brisbane and Toowoomba and projects all across the Australian East Coast.
Our reputation is built on delivering safe, efficient and high-quality electrical solutions that exceed industry standards and our clients' expectations.
Why Join Wolff Power?
Wolff's people put safety first and are professional and tenacious. We operate with integrity and have each other's backs.
This approach has resulted in Wolff Power punching above its weight in our markets which include High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV) and communications / SCADA infrastructure. Our innovative solutions approach and ability to see things through our clients' eyes has seen us emerge as a 'go to' partner for renewable energy generation infrastructure design, construction and operation.
The resulting growth has created a need for a Senior Electrical Estimator to compliment Wolff Power's high-performing business development team.
If you're a driven professional that's prepared to take ownership of estimating processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability in every project bid, then this job is for you
What We Offer
· Competitive remuneration package
· Project-based Travel Allowance
· Opportunities for upskilling, technical mentoring and career growth
· Supportive, high-performing team environment
· Advanced remote support technology
· Employee Assistance Program
· Choice of office location - Narangba or Toowoomba.
Your Role
As Wolff Power's Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, bids and tenders that manage risk and preserve margins.
Typical tenders and bids include HV, LV, utility, infrastructure and renewable generation projects across Australia with values ranging from $1M to $100M.
To ensure the competitiveness of these projects, it's important the Senior Estimator is able to accurately interpret client market enquiry packages, work with estimating software and pro-forma spreadsheets, travel to site for ground-truthing and actively engage with both client and vendor representatives and the multi-disciplinary team at Wolff Power.
To be Successful
Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience as an electrical infrastructure estimator across a range of HV, LV, SCADA and Communications infrastructure projects, operations and electrical testing with a distinct focus on (buried and overhead) private and public networks, substations, switchgear and renewable energy power generation plants.
You will be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including Wolff Power clients, suppliers and subcontractors and you will have exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Experience in end-to-end delivery of multiple projects will be highly-regarded as will and trade and engineering-based qualifications.
