Our diverse and skilled team supports industrial and commercial clients across the country with tailored hot water, steam, and furnace systems. We offer complete end-to-end services—from consulting and design to project delivery, maintenance, and specialised training.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Project Supervisor with demonstrated experience in the delivery of boiler, steam, and mechanical energy systems across industrial settings in Australia. This is a hands-on, site-focused leadership role involving end-to-end project delivery from post-sale mobilisation through to commissioning and close-out.
As the primary site lead, you will oversee daily construction activities, ensure compliance with WHS and quality standards, and coordinate seamlessly with internal engineering, procurement, and project teams. You will lead subcontractors and trades on-site, while ensuring all client expectations are met in line with project scope, schedule, and budget.
This is a pivotal role for a professional with deep field experience and the ability to translate technical plans into practical execution, driving safety, compliance, and operational excellence at ground level.

- Direct all on-site activities, installations, and commissioning of boiler and energy systems
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and vendors ensuring alignment to project deliverables
- Enforce adherence to WHS, QA/QC, and environmental compliance
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety audits
2. Project Delivery & Reporting
- Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines
- Provide accurate progress reporting, site logs, and issue escalation as needed
- Assist with cost control, variation claims, and milestone tracking
3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the face of the business on-site, ensuring strong client rapport and timely resolution of issues
- Liaise with project managers, engineering leads, and procurement to coordinate technical deliverables
Candidate Profile – Qualifications & Experience
- Trade Qualification or Diploma in Mechanical/Boiler Engineering, Construction, or equivalent.
- 5–10 years' site-based supervisory experience in the delivery of boiler, steam, HVAC, or mechanical services projects.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors in live industrial environments.
- WHS Construction White Card (mandatory).
- Australian working rights and open to travel within NSW and interstate as required.
- Familiarity with Australian safety, compliance, and commissioning practices in industrial projects.
Key Competencies & Attributes
- Strong technical acumen in boilers, pressure vessels, and steam system installations.
- Excellent site coordination and people management skills.
- Practical problem-solving ability under tight schedules.
- Solid understanding of drawings, P&IDs, and commissioning documentation.
- Proficient in project tools: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, SharePoint, or similar.
- Self-starter with a safety-first mindset and strong accountability.
- Knowledge in Dynamics 365 is an added advantage.
What's on Offer
- Competitive base salary
- Professional development with exposure to major energy transition projects
- A supportive leadership team and a culture of operational excellence
- Opportunities to grow into Project Engineer or Project Manager roles
