Our workshop is seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Fitter & Machinist/Boiler Maker. This role involves delivering project support and services in full and on time, allowing us to continue growing and producing high-quality products.

The Role

This position reports to the Mechanical Team Manager and requires a motivated individual who is cooperative, team-focused, and receptive to change. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment while prioritizing safety.
  • Performing welding, folding, and fabrication tasks with precision.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Solving problems proactively and independently or as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Fitter & Machinist / Boiler Maker Trade Certificate with a minimum of three years' experience in project/workshop settings.
  • A Pressure welding certificate and proficiency in TIG/MIG welding.
  • Experience in manufacturing and assembling intricate machinery, particularly with stainless steel fabrication.
  • Previous experience in a Food Manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
