About the opportunity

  • You will play a key support role in fostering a safe, energetic and harmonious living and learning environment for residents.
  • Plan, develop and deliver a Professional Development portfolio that provides residents with knowledge, skills and opportunities to support their transition from tertiary study to career progression.
  • Coordinate events and activities, internships, work placements and a variety of employment offerings.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant experience at an appropriate level.
  • Experience coordinating events, working with young adults from diverse backgrounds, and sound knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Sound knowledge of the issues that affect the personal, academic and social lives of young people.

Special Requirements

  • A current National Police Clearance Certificate,
  • Occasional weekend work
