Assistant Project Officer (Aboriginal) - Talent Pool Campaign
Opportunity: Clerk Grade 5/6 Talent Pool
Salary range: $99,938 - $110,271 + super
Location: Flexible working conditions within NSW based in our main hubs Parramatta, Haymarket and Gosford
Employment type: Ongoing/Temporary Full Time – This is for creation of a talent pool for future opportunities
Our
Department is rapidly expanding, and we are searching for proactive and
motivated team members to join our project teams within the Department Customer
Service NSW.
These talent pools are for the employment of an Aboriginal person
in line with the Department's Aboriginal Employment Strategy.
As
an Assistant Project Officer, you can expect to work as a team and undertake a range of culturally
informed project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and
administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects.
A typical day of work for you might include:
- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables.
- Working on documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects.
- Basic research and analysis in project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues
- Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, these may include coordinating committee meetings, preparing papers and to support project management delivery.
To be successful in this role you will have a unique

- Experience working in an agile environment
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Well-developed clerical computer skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential
Requirement: This
is an Identified role and evidence of Aboriginality is required.
