About our school 

St Benedict College is an exciting educational facility built up in the beautiful growing community and suburb of Mango Hill. Over the past 10 years, state of the art facilities have been designed and built to incorporate innovative teaching and learning opportunities for over 1000 students in Years 7 to 12. We provide high quality education across a wide range of subjects and experiences within a Catholic Christian context.

Drive strategic marketing, communications and events initiatives, collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to achieve operational success Provide expert advice while managing daily marketing operations, administration, and communications matters across the school. Deliver high-level support to meet strategic goals and ensure smooth execution of marketing and events activities.

• Work hours: 38.00 hours per week
• Salary: $39.44-$41.35/hr + super (School Salary Scale) (Term time only school holidays unpaid, some additonal hours may be required over the holidays and will be timesheeted for the additional hours worked)

In this position you will be responsible for: 

• Overseeing the development, maintenance, and operations of online and print media, recommending improvements to processes and procedures where relevant 
• Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures, and other guideline material and creating continuity of branding within the school 
• Preparing and maintaining marketing procurement activities including overseeing budget administration, and activities 
• Reviewing, developing, and implementing processes and systems that enable effective management of social media, online platforms, and apps ensuring they are consistent with the school's strategic and operational objectives 
• Marketing and promoting services, coordinating programs and events that are responsive to the school requirements and current trends. 
• Contributing to the school's strategic and operational plans by reviewing legislation, regulations, initiatives and policies and providing recommendations
• Plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of school events ensuring each occasion runs smoothly and reflects the school's values
• Work with staff, students, and families to plan and deliver school events that run smoothly, stay on budget, and celebrate school spirit and community

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: 

• Having experience in media management specifically online and print. 
• Interpreting legislation and ensuring consistent branding 
• Managed marketing procurement and budgeting activities 
• Digital strategy and media management experience in aligning to objectives 
• Experience in coordinating marketing, and events, aligned with needs and trends 
• Tertiary qualification at Associate Diploma/Diploma in a related field.

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
• Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
