We're looking for a HR & Recruitment Reporting Analyst to join Tesla's People team in a permanent role in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hands-on, future focused position where you'll become our go-to reporting, analytics & systems expert; playing a key part in shaping how we work.

In this role, you'll support projects and initiatives that make our people function smarter, faster and more efficiently. You'll collaborate across departments to simplify processes, drive automation and explore how AI can support our teams. You'll also ensure smooth rollouts whenever we introduce new tools or system changes.

What You'll Do

  • Build, maintain and optimise reports from a variety of data sources to support our People function
  • Collaborate with local & global HR and Recruiting leads to achieve alignment for processes and procedures as well as proactively share knowledge and best practices
  • Influence strategic direction for ANZ HR and Recruiting support functions, integrating AI solutions
  • Ensure the improvement and optimization of administrative processes, including compliance audits, systems and tooling
  • Be a subject matter expert for end-to-end HR processes (onboarding, job changes, termination, etc.) and HR compliance
  • Provide weekly Recruiting progress reports, communicating progress and providing insights
  • Lead recruiting data exercises and headcount planning initiatives for senior leaders and country directors
  • Update candidate and employee life-cycle events in HR and Recruiting systems
  • Drive adoption, promotion, and expertise of HR Operating Systems (HROS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) among team members and stakeholders
  • As needed analytical support on recruiting and HR projects
  • Play a pivotal role in communicating changes with stakeholders and the broader HR & Recruiting teams

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • Data & Analytics experience driving business decisions
  • 3+ years of experience in working in People Operations / HR shared services role in a fast-paced complex environment
  • Evidence of impacting change initiatives in an HR or Recruiting function at a national level
  • Experience creating reports using a variety of data sources, highlighting insights or trends
  • Demonstrated experience working with Recruiting or People teams, or in-depth knowledge of the full-cycle recruiting and/or employee life-cycle process
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging automation tools to enhance operational efficiency (including use of AI solutions)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create impactful data-driven reports (Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members in a fast-paced environment, advocate for function
  • Critical thinking and a first principles approach to problem solving
